Lactose is the naturally occurring sugar in the milk of all mammals. Also known as ‘milk sugar’, lactose is roughly 20% the sweetness of common white table sugar.

No added chemicals, antibiotics, GMOs or growth hormones. Made in the USA with A2 goat milk from grass-fed, pastured goats. No chemicals, preservatives, or soy added. Gluten-free, vegetarian.

Goat Milk Lactose is extracted from pure goat milk whey and is perfect for babies, toddlers, kids, and adults. A perfect addition to foods and drinks, lactose has been used to support growth of healthy microflora such as Lactobacillus acidophilus. It is a perfect addition to coffee, smoothies, toddler drinks, formula, baked goods, and yogurt. Can be used for homemade infant formula.

Like most milk sugars, Goat Milk Lactose is only mildly sweet-tasting, and is generally used to increase calorie content. It can be used in baking, but is not typically used to provide the sweetness that a cane sugar does.
