Seeing gulls at sea was a fortuitous sign to land-seeking bygone sailors. They are shore birds that nest on around beaches, coves, and inlets, and therefore, are an indication that land is nearby. Gulls are omnivorous scavengers and anyone who has had their fish and chips stolen by a seagull knows that all too well!
These sly (fry-stealing?) seagull cards are professionally printed on 100% recycled, 130lb cardstock (envelopes are 30% recycled content). Blank inside, so they may be used for a multitude of occasions. Design continues along the back for a panoramic illustration.
Envelope included.
