This wild seaweed is hand-picked by careful foragers in the coast of British Columbia, Canada by northern Vancouver Island or north of Haida Gwaii and slow-dried away from UV light within 24 hours (at a low enough temperature to still be considered a raw food). Macro kelp has a ribbed structure, giving it more bite and texture than the delicious bull kelp also harvested, although they are both fast-growing seaweeds (almost a foot a day in the summer!) in the brown kelp family. Rich in iodine, fiber, potassium and tons of other nutrients!
