The climate in Eastern Washington is perfect for growing the crocus sativus flowers that contain the highly sought-after saffron threads. This incredible seasoning imparts a golden-yellow hue to dishes or textiles, and a very unique flavor.
Cyrus Saffron farms all organic saffron that is worlds away from the old saffron (or red-dyed corn silk!) you can find at most grocery stores.
Add it to rice, seafood dishes, ice cream, or many other foods. Or just put a couple saffron threads into hot water for a delicious, elegant tea!
