This ulu knife is decorated with scrimshaw bald eagles (more abundant in Alaska than anywhere else in the USA), made by Alaskan artist Donna Wilcox. Ulu knives (pronounced "OO-loo") have been used by the Native Alaskan People for over five thousand years to skin fish, split hides, and make clothes, and scrimshaw is the traditional art of etching on the bones or antlers that make the handle. Today, the curved metal blade and easy-to-grip handle makes cutting meat, vegetables, or even brownies a breeze! Each handmade knife is slightly different.

Producer: Donna Wilcox, sold by Colors AK

Warnings: Sharp blade!

Storage: This is a shelf-stable product. Handwash.

Shipping: This item ships separately from Alaska. Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.
